Winterbreak

Anastasia Sauerzopf, Contributer

Winter break is just three weeks after Thanksgiving break. Students wait anxiously within those three weeks for their 2 week vacation. Many religious holidays such as Hanukkah, Kwanzaa,  and Christmas go on during Winter break. Also during the break it was the start of the new year. We said goodbye to 2019 and hello to 2020. It was not only the start of a new year but also a new decade.

What was your favorite part of winter break? Katarina Di Pirmo (8) My favorite part of Winter break was going ice skating with my family.” How do you feel about the new year?  Lily Witt (7)“I just hope the new year is better than last year and less politics.” Did you make any new year’s resolutions? Dion Miller (7)  “I want to improve on my mile time.” Dominic Louro (7) “Get better at basketball.” Dale Moll (6) “To eat healthier.” How has the first week back to school been?  Allyssa  Kenessey (7) “It’s been tiring.” Kalia Mendez (7) “The first week back to school has been okay.”

When we came back to school on January 6 it was a new semester and a fresh start. This means we are half way threw the school year!!! First semester of school went by so fast. Now we only have one more semester till summer.Image result for ice skates
