Boy’s basketball season is in action. Tryouts started on monday, December 17. Final cuts will be posted on Friday morning. Dante Perona, an 8th grader says “I’m ready for this year’s basketball season to start.” He played for the school for the past two years as a point guard. Going into his last year at Benicia Middle school, he wants to be able to take his team to a championship. But he isn’t the only one excited for basketball to start, the school is buzzing with news of who will make the final cuts. There are only 12 spots on each team and 1 team per grade.
