Rush Ranch Field Trip
December 10, 2018
Every year the students from Ms. Shishido’s 6th grade classes go on a field trip called “Rush Ranch”. If you’re wondering, rush ranch is a a water shed in Solano County that has non-native, endanger, native species and organism’s all in and around the water shed. Ms. Shishido say’s it’s important for the student’s to learn about the water shed and the importance of why its there and also to learn about the organism’s/ animal’s that live there. At Rush Ranch the student’s do sample’s and test’s on water, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, temperature, phosphate, and pH. All the student’s plus Ms. Shishido very much enjoyed the trip! “I like to see the student’s learning and getting engaged in the environment.” said Ms. Shishido.
